Rep. Scott Lipps Sworn in as State Representative for the 62nd House District

COLUMBUS—State Representative Scott Lipps (R-Franklin) was sworn in to his second term as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives during yesterday’s session. He represents the 62nd District, which includes much of Warren County.

“Two years ago, it was a tremendous honor to be elected to represent the citizens of District 62, in Warren County. Having our work validated by being re-elected and sworn in is an even greater honor,” said Lipps. “Thank you for the privilege of representing you for two more years!”

A native of Southwest Ohio, Rep. Lipps was raised in Miamisburg, Ohio. After graduating from Miamisburg High School, Rep. Lipps attended the College of Wooster. After his time at Wooster, Rep. Lipps pursued a graduate degree (Masters) at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Rep. Lipps has been blessed with several successful businesses and many opportunities to serve his community over the last 25 years. He has also been involved in philanthropy (Masons and Shriners), professional organizations (NFIB State Board, Optimists and Rotary Club, Farm Bureau, among others) and in public service (Franklin City Council and Mayor). Rep. Lipps currently resides in Franklin.

Yesterday’s Ohio House session marked the beginning of the 133rd General Assembly.
