COLUMBUS—State Representative Scott Lipps (R-Franklin) today announced his appointment by Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder (R-Glenford) to serve on the Legislative Committee on Public Health Futures.

The Public Health Futures committee was re-established in the Operating Budget that was passed in July of this year. The goal of this committee is to review prior recommendations of the committee and make legislative and fiscal policy proposals that will improve local public health services. The committee will meet over the next year and produce a report by the end of 2020.
