State Representative and Dean of the House Republican Caucus, Barbara Sears (R-Monclova Township), today announced that the Republican Caucus has elected their leadership team for the 131^st General Assembly.  State Representative Cliff Rosenberger (R-Clarksville)
was selected to serve as the 102nd Speaker of the Ohio House.

Today, State Representative Dave Hall (R-Millersburg) was awarded the title “Friend of Independent Higher Education” by the Association of Independent Colleges & Universities of Ohio for his advocacy efforts on behalf of independent institutions during the budget process. This is the inaugural year for the award, and it was given to one senator and one
representative who have gone “above and beyond” for the Ohio private college sector.
