COLUMBUS – Rep. Mary Lightbody (D-Westerville) announced today that the state Controlling Board approved several items of note this week, including $121.2 million from the American Rescue Plan to support homeless youth, preschool students and children with disabilities.

COLUMBUS— Ohio House Democratic Leader Emilia Strong Sykes (D-Akron) today announced the Ohio House Democratic Caucus is requesting letters of interest from individuals seeking appointment to Ohio’s 26th House District seat, which is currently vacant following the departure of former Rep. Brown (D-Canal Winchester) and Bride Rose Sweeney (D-Cleveland) today introduced the Democracy Bonus Act, legislation providing a one-time $1,000 dollar bonus to all Ohio National Guard and State Defense Force Members who served in any full-time role after the Governor’s declared state of emergency on March 9, 2020.
