The Ohio House today unanimously voted out legislation sponsored by State Representative Nathan Manning (R-North Ridgeville) that makes several modifications to the traffic code, including adding “harmful intoxicants” to the list of drugs of abuse pertaining to OVI offenses.
State Representatives Nathan Manning (R-North Ridgeville) Terry Boose (R-Norwalk), and Dan Ramos (D-Lorain) presented a resolution to Dr. Roy Church, honoring him for his service as the president of Lorain County Community College and as an educational administrator at today’s Ohio House session.
Today State Representative Nathan Manning announced that the Ohio House passed Senate Bill 264, which designates the first weekend in August 2016 as a sales tax holiday for the purposes of back-to-school shopping. The legislation creates a three-day period in which certain school supplies are exempt from both state and county sales tax. Manning is also a co-sponsor of the legislation.
