In November 2012, Mike Curtin was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives for the 17th District, an area that covers much of West and South Columbus, including the Hilltop and Westgate; Franklin Township; Marble Cliff; San Margherita; Valleyview; and portions of Hamilton Township.

Representative Curtin sought his seat in the Ohio House of Representatives first and foremost to actively serve the people of the 17th District by listening to their concerns, working alongside them for jobs, economic opportunity, positive youth programs, neighborhood improvements and public safety.
