COLUMBUS – State Rep. Richard Dell’Aquila (D-Seven Hills) today announced that two local governments have been awarded $275K as part of Ohio EPA’s statewide grant funding initiative for community and litter prevention programs.

“Our work at the Statehouse and throughout District 15 is far more than just legislative. These grants represent only a small fraction of the economic support we are constantly seeking to improve our constituents' quality of life,” said Rep. Dell’Aquila. “I am so proud to be a small part of this process and thank all of District 15 for affording me that opportunity.”

The City of Brooklyn received $200K for their curbside recycling program, and the Village of Brooklyn Heights received $65K and $10K for their curbside recycling program and funding for a water bottle refilling station, respectively.
