State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) was officially sworn-in to his first term of office as the state representative for the 59th Ohio House District. The district includes most of Mahoning County. Cutrona was originally selected to fill the seat back in May 2020 following the death of the late State Rep. Don Manning. Cutrona later won the seat during the November election with over 60 percent of the vote.

Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) supported the passage of House Bill 361, known as establishing “Ohio Tuskegee Airmen Day.” The legislation designates that March 29 will serve as “Ohio Tuskegee Airmen Day.” The Tuskegee Airmen were the first black military aviators in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Cutrona is a cosponsor of the bill.
