State Representative Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) today voted in support of House Bill 292 – legislation to establish the Ohio Defense and Space Commission.

COLUMBUS—State Representative Melanie Miller (R-Ashland), Chair of the Arts, Athletics, and Tourism Committee, today announced the introduction of legislation that creates the “Ohio, The Heart of It All Pass” Program, a new statewide initiative that would allow Ohioans and visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy more of Ohio’s thriving tourism industry. 

State Representatives Roy Klopfenstein (R-Haviland) and Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) recently introduced “Trey’s Law,” legislation designed to strengthen protections for victims of sexual abuse and ensure perpetrators are held accountable for their crime. 

COLUMBUS—State Representatives Riordan McClain (R-Upper Sandusky) and Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) this week provided sponsor testimony on House Bill 537 in the House Children and Human Services Committee. The bill works to expand access to midwifery services by creating a new licensure framework for midwives in Ohio.
