State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) today announced Danielle Chisling as the 6th House District winner of the 2016 Ohio House of Representatives Student Art Exhibition.

Chisling attends Solon High School and is taught by Jennifer Thompson. Chisling’s artwork is titled “The Lesson”.

“The hard work and dedication put into all of the artwork in the exhibit is truly a remarkable sight,” Rep. Anielski said.  “Ms. Chisling is a very talented artist, and I look forward to seeing where her talents and creativity lead her.”

The exhibition is open to the public at the Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts in the lower level Statehouse connector from January 3, 2016 through December 30, 2016.

The Ohio House of Representatives, Ohio Arts Council, and Ohio Art Education Association joined together for this inaugural student exhibition, which showcases high school artwork from all 99 Ohio House Districts. The exhibition recognizes the talents, creativity, and innovation of students who receive high quality arts education instruction as part of their academic experience in school and represents art by some of Ohio's finest high school artists.
