The Cuyahoga Valley Chamber of Commerce recently presented awards in five different categories at their Annual Impact Awards on Thursday, March 13th.

Person of the Year- Missy Hayes of Cornerstone of Hope

Educational Outreach- The DiGeronimo Companies

New Business of the Year- Miami-Jacobs Career College

Excellence in Customer Service- Weltman, Weinberg, and Reis Co., LPA

Innovation Through Technology- Westminster Technologies, LLC

The Cuyahoga Valley Chamber of Commerce serves Brooklyn Heights, Cuyahoga Heights, Independence, Seven Hills, Valley View, and Walton Hills.

During a press conference at the Statehouse this afternoon, State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) joined other public leaders in highlighting the state’s efforts in recent years to increase awareness and access to suicide prevention programs. She also discussed newly introduced legislation designed to help school districts and private schools across Ohio provide counseling to students in need of emotional support.
