Franklin Ludwig and Rep Anielski at the Statehouse Recognition Day.

State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) met with Brecksville resident Franklin Ludwig, who was visiting the Statehouse for the Soap Box Derby Day.

Ludwig, a 15 year old who attends St. Ignatius High School, was being honored for being named the Rally Masters Champion, placing 4th in the world for Rally Masters, and having the fastest heat time of every car that raced. Representative Anielski met with Ludwig at the Statehouse and presented him with a commendation for his achievements. He is one of 100 Ohio Soap Box racers representing more than 65 communities throughout Ohio at the recognition day.

“Every loss is a reason to push yourself to become better,” said Franklin Ludwig, when asked what he attributes his success to.

“I am happy to have had the opportunity to meet Franklin and see firsthand his dedication and hard work,” Rep Anielski said. “ I wish him the best of luck in all his future races.”
