COLUMBUS -

State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) is hosting two “Legislator for a Day” programs on Friday, November 15, 2013 and Monday, March 24, 2014. All students of the 6th House District are invited.

The program will consist of a mock legislative voting session, where students will get the opportunity to sit in the desks on the House floor, vote on legislation, and attend a VIP tour of the Statehouse, which includes standing and getting a personal photo of where President Lincoln gave a speech. The day will end with students asking any additional questions while having lunch.

This program is open to all students grades K through 12th and their parents who reside in the 6th House District. Students who are interested in participating are encouraged to contact Rep. Anielski’s office to RSVP.
