State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) hosted an Ohio-themed art contest for all 4th grade students in the 6th House District. Today, Representative Anielski announced the winner from Central Elementary School, located in Brecksville. Representative Anielski visited the school to present Melissa Romero with her framed artwork as well as to present certificates to all artists who participated.

“I am delighted to announce that Melissa Romero’s illustration of the Ohio state bird, the cardinal, was selected as a winner of the 6th District Art Contest,” Rep Anielski said.

The winning submission was framed and displayed in the representative’s state office.
