State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) met with the Mayfield Area Chamber of Commerce at their monthly luncheon to discuss state and local issues with the chamber members.

Representative Anielski reviewed many of the major legislative accomplishments of the Ohio House for the first half of the 131st General Assembly, discussed the recently enacted state budget, and spoke about plans and opportunities for the upcoming state capital budget.  Rep. Anielski also discussed her recently introduced Sub. H.B. 319, legislation that would create specialty license plates for Mayfield City Schools.  Those in attendance showed their support with petition signatures.  Attendees had the opportunity to personally ask questions to Rep. Anielski and have an open discussion on many issues.
“Interacting directly with local business owners and leaders in the community allows me to thoroughly represent the people of the 6th House District,” Rep. Anielski said.  “The luncheon was very productive, and I appreciate the enthusiasm and engagement of all of the attendees.”
