COLUMBUS -

State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Independence) recently volunteered as a celebrity server with Fantasy Candies, based out of Lyndhurst, for the Cleveland Foodbank.

“Supporting an organization which helps thousands of individuals curb hunger is a wonderful thing," Rep Anielski said. “I had the pleasure of assisting Fantasy Candies hand out healthy dark chocolates, key lime truffles, cinnamon milk chocolate and tiramisu. I do admit, I tried them all!"

“It was great for my daughter Courtney and I to have this opportunity to share our candies with Representative Anielski and the Cleveland Foodbank for such an important cause,” said Joel Fink, owner of Fantasy Candies.

The Cleveland Foodbank hosted their 2nd annual Market at the Foodbank. The night consisted of sampling the culinary talents of many Northeast Ohio restaurants, bakeries, and much more. Proceeds from this evening benefited Harvest for Hunger, a 21 county-wide food and funds drive coordinated by the Cleveland Foodbank. For every one dollar raised during this event, the Cleveland Foodbank can provide enough food for four nutritious meals to a local hunger center.
