Speaker of the Ohio House William G. Batchelder (R-Medina) recently appointed State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Independence) to serve as the vice chair of the House State and Local Government Committee.


Additionally, Rep. Anielski will serve on the Finance and Appropriations Committee and on the Military and Veterans Affairs Committee. She will also serve as a member of the State and Local Government subcommittee on Shared Services and Government Efficiency.


“I would like to thank the Speaker for his appointments, and I look forward to continue making our hardworking taxpayers’ dollars more efficient and effective in every level of government,” Rep Anielski said.


Rep. Anielski is serving her second term in the Ohio House. She represents the 6th Ohio House District, which includes portions of eastern Cuyahoga County.

During this winter season, several specialized committees—task forces created by the Speaker of the House—have been meeting across Ohio to address specific policy areas.
