State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) recently presented Eagle Scout Luke Spauger with a House commendation for achieving his Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Sunday, October 24th in Independence. Spauger was recognized for his many achievements and service through his active participation with Boy Scout Troop 297.

Luke Spauger’s project took him to Cornerstone of Hope Bereavement Center where he planned and organized the restoration work of an acquired building.  Luke’s continued participation in the Scouting Program serves as a source of inspiration for those who follow his path.

“I am pleased to have been able to help honor Luke, who is such an outstanding young member of our community,” Rep. Anielski said. “Becoming an Eagle Scout requires hard work and dedication, both of which Luke has demonstrated through his many years in the scouting program.”
