State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Independence) has announced that the State Controlling Board recently approved a loan in the amount of $825,000 to Mobile Awareness, LLC for capitalizable project development costs in the City of Solon.

Mobile Awareness, LLC designs, develops, and markets transportation safety projects using leading-edge sensor technology. The company plans to utilize this loan to assist their work developing the next generation tire pressure monitoring system for the commercial trucking industry.

According to documents from the Office of Budget and Management, Mobile Awareness has committed to creating 30 full-time jobs and retaining eight existing full-time jobs at the project site.

“Job creation is crucial in this economic climate, and I am pleased to announce that Mobile Awareness, LCC has committed to create 30 new full time jobs and retain eight existing positions,” Rep Anielski said. “It is always refreshing to have positive news and have another business prosper in assisting more Ohioans get back to full-time employment.”

The financing assistance represents approximately 75 percent of the total investment of $1.1 million in development costs at the project site.
