State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) recently attended the formal announcement of the production start of the all-new twin-scroll 2.0 liter and 2.3 liter EcoBoost Engines for North America at its Cleveland Engine Plant. In 2013, Ford Motor Company invested nearly $200 million dollars and added 450 new jobs to support production and rising consumer demands for the new engine.

Rep. Anielski released the following statement:

“It’s extremely exciting to know that a major automotive company like Ford recognizes the benefits that setting up shop and continuing to expand right here in Northeast Ohio can bring. Ford will be bringing more jobs here, and this expansion highlights our continuous efforts to promote a competitive, business-friendly economic climate to encourage local job creation all around Ohio. I’ve been very grateful to be a member of the Ohio House at a time when economic development has been a top priority. I firmly believe that our state is making great progress, and the announcement by Ford contributes to our economic recovery.”
