RIVERSIDE, California -

State Representatives Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) and Cheryl Grossman (R-Grove City), recently spoke at the Famous Fliers’ Wall during their participation in the Fireball Run.

The Mission Inn, which celebrated its centennial anniversary in 2003, records visits by famous pilots of the day. The plaque on the Famous Fliers’ Wall is surrounded by 154 pairs of copper wings, each dedicated to an individual or group of fliers. The MIA –POWS are honored by being surrounded with barbed wire, alongside Orville Wright, the WASPs, and Medal of Honor Aviators.

"I was honored to speak at the induction of Astronaut Captain John McBride to the infamous Fliers' Wall in Riverside, California," said Rep. Anielski. "He was truly humbled by this honor and I was proud to be with a Great American."
