Marlene Anielski - House District 6

State Representative Marlene Anielski is currently serving her fourth term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She represents the 6th House District, which includes portions of Cuyahoga County including Bentleyville, Brecksville, Broadview Heights, Chagrin Falls, Chagrin Falls Township, Gates Mills, Glenwillow, Highland Heights, Hunting Valley, Independence, Lyndhurst, Mayfield Village, Moreland Hills, Oakwood, Seven Hills, Solon, Valley View and Walton Hills.

Growing up in northeastern Ohio, Representative Anielski is the former mayor of Walton Hills. She served as mayor/safety director for more than 10 years. She earned her Masters of Business Administration from Cleveland State University and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Akron. She also received her certification as an Ohio Certified Public Manager from Cleveland State University. She is a graduate of the Jo Ann Davidson Ohio Leadership Institute (JADOLI).

Representative Anielski has actively participated in numerous national, state and community organizations. She has served as a steering committee member of the Small Communities Council of the National League of Cities and as a steering committee member of the Mayors’ and Municipalities Automotive Coalition (MMAC). She is a Junior Achievement Volunteer and participates in several Chambers of Commerce.
