State Representative Mark Romanchuk (R-Ontario) was sworn in yesterday as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 132nd General Assembly. He represents the 2nd Ohio House District, which comprises all of Richland County, for a third term.


“I’m looking forward to continuing to work on and pass legislation that benefits the citizens of Richland County and all of Ohio,” said Rep. Romanchuk. “Filling the jobs that are already available as well as creating an environment that leads to job growth has been and will continue to be one of my top priorities in the new General Assembly.”


Representative Romanchuk has nearly 30 years of experience in small business, systems engineering and management, and community development. He is the owner and president of PR Machine Works, Inc., a contract manufacturer providing precision machining, fabrication, and assembly services. Additionally, he is the co-founder and past president of the Regional Manufacturing Coalition and serves on the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

As we turn the page to 2014, I wanted to report on the progress The Ohio General Assembly has made in cutting taxes, reforming government and improving workforce development.  My top priority continues to be making Richland County a place where businesses can grow and create jobs that will provide a better quality of life for every family.
