State Representative Mark Romanchuk (R-Ontario) will be joining the Richland Community Development Group (RCDG) in a Business Opportunities Forum for local businesses and manufacturers.

The forum is designed to allow companies the opportunity to deal directly with various state agencies regarding available financing programs, legislative concerns and other issues important to the success of Richland County’s business community.

“I am pleased to endorse this Business Opportunities Forum which will define how Ohio’s state agencies can support Richland County businesses, large and small, as they operate in the global economy,” said Rep. Romanchuk. “Ultimately, the goal is to assist Richland County businesses in creating jobs for our citizens.”

The event will be held on Monday, March 4th from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Kehoe Center at North Central State College (175 Mansfield Ave., Shelby).

Agencies that are scheduled to attend include the Ohio Development Services Agency, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, the Bureau of Workers Compensation, the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, the Treasurer of State’s Office, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, and the USDA Department of Rural Development.

There is no cost to attend the forum, but registration is required. Please contact Roberta Perry with the RCDG at (419) 755-7234 or to register.
