Following the tragic highway accidents on I-275 that occurred during Monday’s snowstorm, State Representative Lou Blessing, III today released the following statement:

"As many of you know, tragedy struck southwest Ohio this past Monday in the form of an 86-vehicle accident that ultimately resulted in the death of 12 year-old Sammy Reagan. While keeping Sammy and her family in our prayers, we must also thank the many police, fire and EMT workers that ensured that no further lives were lost."

Monday’s weather-related vehicle accidents closed parts of I-275 and southbound 1-75. The I-275 pileup, the accident in which Sammy Reagan was involved, consisted of 16 commercial vehicles and 70 passenger vehicles.
