COLUMBUS—Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) announced that State Representative Laura Lanese (R-Grove City) has been appointed to serve on four Ohio House committees.

In January, Lanese was selected to vice chair the Armed Services, Veterans Affairs and Homeland Security Committee. With this week’s announcement, she will also be serving on the following committees:

• Financial Institutions, Housing and Urban Development
• Criminal Justice
• Civil Justice

“It is an honor and a privilege to be selected by Speaker Rosenberger to serve on the Financial Institutions, Housing, and Urban Development Committee as well as the Criminal and Civil Justice committees,” Lanese said. “This, along with my vice chairmanship of the Armed Services, Veterans Affairs, and Homeland Security Committee, will allow me to serve the constituents of the 23rd District as well as the people throughout this state in a greater capacity. My experience as a veteran, an attorney, and in the banking industry will help me immensely moving forward in these committees.  I am excited to begin working with my colleagues to better the lives of all Ohioans.”

Lanese is currently serving her first term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She represents the 23rd Ohio House District, which includes Grove City, Jackson Township, Urbancrest, and portions of Hilliard, Norwich Township, Prairie Township, Franklin Township, and Columbus.
