COLUMBUS – Representative Larry Householder voted to stop illegal aliens from receiving
benefits.

The legislation, part of the Bureau of Workers Compensation budget, would prevent the state
from awarding workers’ compensation benefits to illegal aliens.

“Ohio’s men and women who are injured on the job deserve the protection of our workers’
compensation system,” said Householder (R-Glenford). “We’re a nation of laws. If those who
have come to this country illegally want to enjoy the fruits of our labor, they should become
American citizens.”

The legislation now heads to the Ohio Senate for review.
