Today, Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) appointed Rep. Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) as chair of the House Federalism & Interstate Relations Committee.


“It is important that there is a standing body enabled to address legislation that deals with the relationship between the federal government and the state government,” Roegner said. “It is an honor to be appointed chair of this important committee and I look forward to enthusiastically serving as chair to facilitate the processes responsible for sensible and fair legislation for all Ohioans. I look forward to working with the vice chair, Representative Scott Lipps, and all members of the committee.”


State Representative Kristina Roegner is serving her fourth term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She represents the 37th Ohio House District, which includes portions of northeastern Summit County.

Ohio House Passes Boiler Legislation

The Ohio House of Representatives, with bipartisan support, has passed legislation dealing with Ohio’s boiler law that would allow businesses and individuals to operate low-pressure steam boilers or power boilers, or a stationary steam engine, without the presence of a licensed boiler operator or steam engineer.
