Columbus -

State Representative Kristina Daley Roegner (R-Hudson) is pleased to announce the results of her 4th Grade Art Recognition Program, a program designed to recognize the artistic talents of 4th grade students from across the 37th House District. The goal was to capture the beauty of Ohio through individual art, and there were over 300 submissions from 11 schools.

Rep. Roegner selected the Ohio-themed artwork created by Andrew Brandtsch and Suvik Costa, both of Indian Trail Elementary; Drew Bantum and Mason Lard, both of Riverview Elementary; Gavin McKenna and Vivian Cornacchione, both of Seton Catholic School; Caleb Schneider of the Holy Family School and Dakota Kwasney of East Woods Elementary, to be displayed in her office at the Ohio House of Representatives.

“I want to thank all the students who participated,” said Rep. Roegner. “It was so much fun to see the many beautiful pieces of art submitted by our 4th graders across the district. The passion these children have for our Buckeye State was demonstrated through their artistic creations.”

All submissions that were not selected for Rep. Roegner’s office will be sent to Ohio soldiers serving overseas or to an Ohio veteran’s home as a way to thank them for their service.

“I am certain that these will be an encouragement to and warm the hearts of our service men and women,” said Rep. Roegner.
