COLUMBUS—State Representative Keith Faber (R-Celina) today applauded the announcement by Airstream, Inc. in Jackson Center that the company will make the most significant expansion in its history, a project poised to add approximately 280 new jobs.

Airstream, known for the “silver bullet” travel trailer, will break ground on the almost $40 million project this spring, which is expected to triple its production space and improve product quality. The expansion will bring Airstream’s number of employees up to 1,200 and will incorporate state-of-the-art training, improving skills and techniques for current and new employees.

“Congratulations to Airstream! It is extremely exciting that companies are investing in our communities by expanding and adding jobs,” said Faber. “I am proud that Airstream agrees that west central Ohio is a great place to live, work, and raise a family. We are lucky to have them in our community and we support their growing business.”

The company expansion is expected to be completed in 2019.
