COLUMBUS—Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) has announced that State Representative Jonathan Dever (R-Madeira) has been appointed to serve on three Ohio House committees.

In January, Dever was selected to chair the Financial Institutions, Housing and Urban Development Committee. Following this week’s announcement, he will also serve on the Public Utilities and Civil Justice committees.

“It is a great honor to be asked by Speaker Rosenberger to serve on the Public Utilities and Civil Justice committees, in addition to being the chair of the Financial, Institutions, Housing and Urban Development Committee,” Dever said. “I look forward to playing an active role in each of these committees to help shape public policy in a positive way.”

Dever is currently serving his second term as state representative. He represents the 28th House District, which includes the northern suburbs of Hamilton County.
