COLUMBUS—State Representative John Becker (R-Union Township) was promoted by Speaker Cliff Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) to serve as the vice chair of the House Federalism and Interstate Relations Committee.

“I appreciate Speaker Rosenberger’s confidence in me by increasing my responsibilities serving the people of Ohio,” said Rep. Becker. “As a constitutional conservative , I plan to continue promoting states’ rights, limited government, and pro-family policies.”

The Federalism and Interstate Relations Committee focuses on the importance of the Tenth Amendment, reserving powers to the state, and evaluates current legislation within the context of today’s laws and issues at the state and federal level.

Rep. Becker represents the 65th District in northwestern Clermont County, which includes parts of Loveland and Milford, all of Newtonsville and Owensville, as well as Goshen, Miami, Stonelick, Union and Wayne townships.
