State Representative John Becker (R-Union Township) introduced House Bill 263 today. It is a companion bill to House Bill 250, legislation that allows for early voting two weeks prior to the election, concluding on the Friday before the election. House Bill 263 specifies early voting to be weekdays (Monday through Friday) and from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

“The intention of House Bill 250 and House Bill 263 is to create a statewide standard, reduce overtime expenses, and eliminate chaos,” said Rep. Becker.

House Bill 263 will be assigned to a House committee in the near future.
