COLUMBUS - 

State Representative John Becker (R-Union Township – Clermont Co.) yesterday was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 130th General Assembly. He represents the 65th Ohio House District, which includes portions of northwest Clermont County.


“I look forward to representing the people of Clermont County,” said Rep. Becker. “I am tremendously thankful for this opportunity to serve my district.”


A lifelong resident of the Cincinnati area, Representative Becker served as a member of the Republican State Central Committee for 8 years and currently serves as a member of the Clermont County Republican Central Committee. He has worked in several different industries, including manufacturing, banking, education and health insurance.


Representative Becker and his wife live in Cincinnati and have one daughter.
