State Representative Jim Butler is currently serving his second term as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 41st House District, which includes eastern portions of Montgomery County (Centerville, Dayton, Kettering, Oakwood and Riverside).  Representative Butler is the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. In an effort to help military veterans gain access to critical treatment, the Ohio House of Representatives today passed House Concurrent Resolution 21, which urges President Barack Obama, the U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs, and the U.S. Congress to take prompt action to reduce the processing time for veterans’ disability claims.

Batchelder (R-Medina) and other members of the House veterans caucus in demanding that veterans’ disability benefits be administered by Washington in a significantly more timely fashion.
