State Rep. Jessica E. Miranda (D-Forest Park) continues to welcome the many local job creation projects to her district through investment in business such as Kroger.

“I am proud to announce even more high-paying job opportunities created as a result of the teamwork between JobsOhio, REDI Cincinnati, and our local economic development teams” said Rep. Miranda. “The local economic stability provided by this collaboration is unparalleled. Every new job created is a chance for a hardworking Ohioan to get ahead and make a brighter future for themselves, and therefore a brighter future for the 28th District.”

Kroger, a grocery company with 32 food manufacturing plants and 2,800 retail stores across the U.S., expects to create 15 full-time positions, generating $1.5 million in new annual payroll and retaining $58.2 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s data center project in the City of Blue Ash and Hamilton.

This local project is among the many economic development projects that JobsOhio and REDI Cincinnati have helped secure, symbolizing over 8,500 new jobs and $700 million in new fixed asset investment commitments to House District 28.
