Representing Parma, Brooklyn Heights, Cuyahoga Heights, and part of southwest Cleveland, Jeff Crossman began his first term serving the Ohio House in January 2019. Jeff is a dedicated public servant and brings his five years of experience as a Parma City Councilman to the Statehouse.

While serving on Parma’s City Council, Jeff was instrumental in crafting a balanced city budget, oversaw a wide array of local governmental operations, worked to improve neighborhoods and keep them safe. Jeff is also a former member of Parma’s Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals.

COLUMBUS— State lawmakers returned to the Statehouse today to address the COVID-19 crisis and provide immediate relief to everyday Ohioans. State Rep. Jeffrey A. Crossman (D-Parma) released a statement today following the unanimous passage of an omnibus bill (HB 197) that would prohibit utility shut-offs, waive state testing requirements, freeze EdChoice eligibility, extend voting in the primary election, postpone the state income tax filing deadline among several other measures.

COLUMBUS– State Representatives John Rogers (D-Mentor-On-The-Lake) and Jeff Crossman (D-Parma) today introduced a number of legislative proposals aimed at assisting with the economic wellbeing of Ohioans impacted by the spread of COVID-19 and the State’s Executive orders addressing the pandemic. This package would temporarily modify the tax code, other statutes and state funding in an effort to protect Ohioans who are at risk of significant personal financial loss as this crisis moves forward.

COLUMBUS— State Rep. Jeffrey A. Crossman (D-Parma) and Rep. Lisa Sobecki (D-Toledo) today have sent letterS to Governor DeWine and State Superintendent Paolo DeMaria insisting that state mandated testing be canceled for this academic year now that schools have been closed for at least the next three weeks due to concerns about the spreading Coronavirus.
