Rep. Jay Edwards Appointed to Four Ohio House Committees

COLUMBUS—Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) has announced that State Representative Jay Edwards (R-Nelsonville) has been appointed to serve on four Ohio House committees.

Edwards will serve on the following committees during the 132nd General Assembly:

• Health
• Energy & Natural Resources
• Agriculture & Rural Development
• Higher Education & Workforce Development

“I am pleased with my committees and feel that they will give me a great opportunity to represent the 94th District very well,” Edwards said. “With a district as unique as ours, I will be staying up to date with all standing committees and the impact legislation will have on our area.”

Edwards is serving his first term as state representative. He represents the 94th Ohio House District, which includes Athens, Meigs, Washington, and Vinton counties.
