State Rep. Jack Cera (D-Bellaire) is pleased to announce approximately $23,450 in state funds for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ State Park Renovations Upgrade project, which will be used to upgrade new restrooms at Jefferson Lake State Park.

“Jefferson Lake State Park offers many attributes to the visiting public including camping, sports activities, and natural beauty,” said Cera. “The continued upkeep, especially in regards to the restrooms, will provide a healthy atmosphere for families to enjoy the park facility.  I am happy to see that the state is working to maintain a level of top quality customer service at many of our parks across the state, especially the facility in Jefferson County.”

The State Park Renovations Upgrade project funds design and construction services for new restroom facilities at state parks throughout Ohio. State parks whose restroom facilities have reached the end of their useful lives will receive funds for architectural and engineering services, as well as for the installation of the new restroom units.
