State Rep. Jack Cera (D-Bellaire) today announced the approval of over $30,000 in state funding to support the Ohio State Highway Patrol post in St. Clairsville, Ohio. The funds will increase the capacity of the post by providing necessary upgrades to dispatch equipment and workspace for the officers.

“The Ohio State Highway Patrol works tirelessly to keep our roadways safe and Ohioans out of harm’s way,” said Cera. “This support will increase public safety in eastern Ohio by giving our Highway Patrol officers the resources they need to carry out their important mission.”

The funds were released by the state Controlling Board, on which Rep. Cera serves.
