Regarding the announcement that Yamada North America, Inc. plans to expand its current facility and create 100 new jobs, State Representative Kyle Koehler (R-Springfield) released the following statement:


"Manufacturing will always be at the heart of who we are in the 79th District. Creating products that we can sell outside Clark County is exactly the kind of economic growth we need to help our district grow and prosper.  Those who have worked at the local level can be proud of our falling unemployment rates and the increase in good paying jobs right here at home.”


Yamada North America, Inc. is among the leading suppliers of automotive parts to companies such as Honda and Subaru. In addition to creating 100 new jobs, the company’s location on Columbus-Cincinnati Road in Clark County will be expanding by about 73,000 square feet.
