COLUMBUS—State Representative Kyle Koehler (R-Springfield) today met with fourth grade students from Kenwood Elementary at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus.

The school group from Springfield had the opportunity to tour the Statehouse in order to learn more about Ohio history and state government. Rep. Koehler spoke with students toward the end of the tour about his role as state representative.

“It is always a great opportunity to meet with students from the 79th House District at such a historic place like the Ohio Statehouse,” Rep. Koehler said. “As a member of Springfield Kiwanis, Kenwood has a special place in my heart.  We work closely with Kenwood Elementary by providing help and encouragement to their students.  Many of these children have been recognized through our monthly 'Terrific Kid' program. What a blessing it was to welcome them today in Columbus."
