Drug addiction is a pervasive issue that affects many Ohioans on a daily basis. As individuals and families struggle together to conquer this disease and mediate on its devastating effects, it is crucial that the State of Ohio provides ways to conquer the negative impacts this problem creates in our communities. The Ohio House has been working diligently to pass legislation to improve the quality and spectrum of care on all levels for those suffering from substance abuse issues, with the ultimate intention of diminishing the epidemic as a whole. The House has also worked to prevent the addiction from happening in the first place.
