State Rep. Heather Bishoff (D-Blacklick) today asked lawmakers for favorable consideration of her legislation, House Bill 179, more commonly known as the “Parenting Time Bill.” The proposal addresses the issue of employment and court ordered visitation time and the conflict that sometimes arises, between the two.
“There is no statue to provide guidance when this issue arises. We have good employees who are also good parents having to choose between employment and parenting,” said Rep. Bishoff.
