State Representative Gary Scherer is currently serving his fourth term in the Ohio House of Representatives after being appointed to the 129th General Assembly. He represents the 92nd House District, which includes Fayette County, as well as portions of Pickaway and Ross counties. He serves as the Vice Chair of the Ways and Means Committee and is a member of the Finance Committee.

03.26.20 - Representative Scherer Votes To Support Coronavirus-Response Bill

 

COLUMBUS— State Representative Gary Scherer (R-Circleville) yesterday voted in favor of House Bill 197, which enacts key measures to address issues related to the coronavirus public health crisis. Scherer cosponsored the legislation, which passed both the House and Senate unanimously, and now awaits Governor DeWine’s signature.

02.24.20 - House Honors Medal Of Honor Recipient And Others With Memorial Highways

 

COLUMBUS— House Bill 276 passed the House unanimously, designating Master Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Edward C. Byers, Jr., Medal of Honor Recipient Highway on parts of State Route 65 in Wood County. This bill also designates multiple memorial highways and bridges across the state, including two Memorial Highway designations in House District 92, announced State Representative Gary Scherer (R-Circleville).
