COLUMBUS -

In response to the recent flooding that has occurred in Brown County, State Representative Doug Green is encouraging residents of the county who are in need or who have safety questions to reach out to their local public safety offices.

For the latest information and details related to the flooding, Brown County residents are urged to call the county Emergency Management Agency at (934) 378-5106. They may also contact Rep. Green’s Statehouse office by phone at (614) 644-6034 or by e-mail at Rep66@ohiohouse.gov.

“There are no words to describe the tragic events that took place Saturday night,” Green said. “My thoughts and prayers go out to all who were affected by this disaster at Stringtown. It was encouraging to see the resilience of the community to pull together knowing that we all mourn the loss of our neighbors in this time of need. I appreciate the Ohio Department of Public Safety and Brown County Emergency Management Agency’s swift and immediate response. From here, I look to assist our county Emergency Management Agency in any way I can in this capacity.”

Green represents the 66th District, which includes all of Brown County, as well as southeastern Clermont County.
