Leland To Open Clintonville Farmers' Market With Bell Ringing

StateRep. David Leland (D-Columbus) will open the Clintonville Farmers’ Market on Saturday, July 20 at 9:00 a.m. by acting as the official “bell ringer”.

“I am honored to kick off our beloved farmers’ market,” said Leland. “It’s small business owners and local farmers who put their heart and souls in their work that make not only our community, but also our Clintonville Farmers’ Markets so special. I will continue to support their mission of supporting excellent growers and producers while nurturing community appreciation of wholesome local foods”.


The Clintonville Farmers’ Market is celebrating its 17th season in 2019. All participating producers and cottage food producers are from Ohio.


The market is located on North High Street between Orchard Lane and West Dunedin Road in Clintonville and hosts over 70 unique producers.

Ahead of an anticipated May 16 vote to elect a new speaker of the Ohio House, two lawmakers are seeking answers as to why former Republican House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger resigned abruptly, amid reports of potential corruption. State Reps. Kristin Boggs (D-Columbus) and David Leland (D-Columbus) today asked the special agent in charge of the Cincinnati Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Ohio to provide any or as much information as possible on any current or potential investigation of Rosenberger’s unprecedented resignation.
