Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) today appointed State Representative Dave Greenspan (R-Westlake) to serve on the House Finance Committee, where he will chair the Finance Subcommittee on Transportation. 


“I’m honored to have earned the confidence and support of Speaker Rosenberger and Chairman Ryan Smith for the appointments to the Ohio House of Representatives Finance Committee and to chair the Finance Subcommittee on Transportation,” Rep. Greenspan said. “I believe that my experience at the municipal and county levels in finance and transportation has provided me with the skills to serve effectively in these two important roles.”


Rep. Greenspan is serving his first term in the Ohio House of Representatives and also currently serves on the Community and Family Advancement Committee, the Economic Development, Commerce and Labor Committee, the Government Accountability and Oversight Committee, and the Transportation and Public Safety Committee.


“During his first year in the House, Rep. Greenspan has proven himself as an effective and passionate leader for his district and Cuyahoga County,” Speaker Rosenberger said. “Dave will be a valuable addition to the Finance Committee and is the ideal choice to chair the Finance Subcommittee on Transportation.”


He represents the 16th Ohio House District, which includes the cities of Bay Village, Fairview Park, North Olmsted, Rocky River, and Westlake.

This legislation seeks to create the Local Government Road Improvement Fund, to which one half of state surplus revenue each fiscal year will be allocated.
