State Representative Dave Greenspan (R-Westlake) today announced that he will be participating in the bipartisan Speaker’s Task Force on Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) and Military Affairs.

Rep. Greenspan will be one of four state legislators to serve on the task force, which was unveiled earlier this year by Ohio House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger (R-Clarksville). The mission of the task force is to study and analyze military installations in Ohio as they relate to assets and resources in anticipation of realignment opportunities.

The meetings will take place throughout the fall at various military installations across the state and will involve leadership at each installation and input from the community. The goal of the task force is to produce a final report with recommendations to the legislature, administration, and Ohio’s Congressional delegation.
