Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) issued a statement regarding today’s announcement that the President of Wright State University, David Hopkins, is retiring in 2017.

“David Hopkins has been an innovative and collaborative leader for Wright State University. The many improvements made in recent years could not have been achieved without his guidance and leadership. As a Wright State alum, I’m proud to see the university thriving and continually providing a top-notch education for students who want to excel and learn, which is a testament to President Hopkins’s work. I wish him the best on his retirement.”
